Women's soccer Club "Masinac" (Mah-shEE-nah-ts) was founded in September 1970.

From 1974-1980 it existed under the name Rail Women's Football Club "Masinac" and as a member of sports family of Yugoslav Rails they could travel without paying transport fees.

Since 1975 the Club has been developing additional revenues activities such as procuring insurance and car registration that brought a certain financial stability.



1981 was the year when Club started its fight for getting affirmation of the Club, as well as widening its economy, new organizations and competitive successes.

In 1987 the Club moved to a new location "Delijski Vis" which became the Club's home and "Masinac" once homeless became collective with a clear vision of its future.

 

 



In 1990 "Classic" was added to its name and the club signed the Tobacco Factory in
Nis as their general sponsor.

Since it was founded, a great enthusiasm and ambition for its development and has been demonstrated throughout Club.

During this period Masinac has been acknowledged as:

THE MOST SUCCESSFUL women's soccer club in the former
Yugoslavia and in the south-east of Europe winning sixteen Yugoslav Champion titles and ten Yugoslav Cup trophies.

THE MOST ORGANIZED academy of soccer with over 150 players, its own stadium and side fields and excellent marketing.

THE MOST AFFIRMED club with high stated aims of bringing up the best athletes as well as being the leading Club in the development of women's soccer in this area.



In the last 30 years there have been over 3000 players passing through the Club with about 100 of them having very successful international careers.

Over 40 players from Masinac have played for the Serbian national team and over 20 for the U19 national team.


The coach of the Club, Perica Krstic, professional coach since 1974, has been the Head Coach of the Serbian Women's National team for 20 years.

The Club would like to cooperate with sports clubs all over the world by exchanging information, video tapes, photographs and mutual visits.

The aim of the Club is to be among ten best European clubs through European club competition.
